
Mitch Stern is an attorney and consultant, and served as a special agent and supervisory special agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation for 20 years.
Prior to his appointment as a federal special agent, he was in the private practice of law and worked for a year as a public defender in Charleston County, SC.
Between attending Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center and SUNY Stonybrook, where he majored in (surprise) English Literature, he worked as a police officer and investigator.
Prior to attending university, he served on active duty in the US Marine Corps. He also served in the Marine Corps Reserve and the Coast Guard Reserve.
During his FBI career, Mitch’s was honored to represent the FBI at INTERPOL Headquarters in Lyon, France in the area of countering CBRNE crime, at the CIA and on staff for the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear, Chemical and Biological Defensive Programs.
He and his wife live in Maryland with their children and Smokey the Rabbit.
